GLEN ROSE – (WBAP/KLIF) – Sommervell County Sheriff’s Department confirms the grass fire on 191 north, near the crossing of Farm Road 2174.
As many as a dozen fire trucks are on the scene trying to get a reading on the size of the fire and possible threat. Winds are running southerly about 12 miles an hour as firefighters try to beat back the flames and assess its size.
The fire’s reported to be about 50 miles west of downtown Fort Worth.
