Plano Bar That Served a Man Before Killing 8 Agreed to Give Up Liquor License

PLANO (WBAP/KLIF) – The Local Public House in Plano that served a man before he killed 8 people, has agreed to give up its liquor license.

Chris Porter with the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission said Spencer Hight was at the local public house before arriving drunk at a house party and opening fire.

Porter said Local Public House will not be allowed to sell or serve alcohol after August 1st.

He said the fate of the bar is unknown. The possibility of obtaining a liquor License in the future is up to Plano officials.
