FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – One person has been killed and several others hurt following a police chase and crash in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
Fort Worth Police Sergeant Chris Britt says officers were chasing a burglary suspect.
“There had been some crime in the area, he had been identified. I believe we had been looking into him for some other offenses,” said Sergeant Britt. “I don’t know what he was actively doing today.”
The suspect slammed into several vehicles at Exchange and Main streets. Five people were taken to the hospital.
The person killed was an innocent bystander.
