Rockwall Company Nearing Finish Line to Improve Water Supply in Liberia

Dr. Todd Phillips, Founder and President of The Last Well

ROCKWALL (WBAP/KLIF) – A North Texas non-profit working to improve the water supply in the African nation of Liberia is nearing its end goal.

Dr. Todd Phillips is founder and president of The Last Well based in Rockwall.

“We, over the last nine years, have built a staff and contractors and teams in Liberia to the point where now we are reaching eight villages, on average, per day,” Phillips said.

Phillips says all money donated goes straight to the work they are doing.

“We’ve got a group of donors that cover all of the expenses in the United States so none of their money stays here,” Phillips said. “If you give money, all of that money goes to the projects in the field.”

Phillips is spending what could be weeks on Lake Ray Hubbard to bring awareness to the cause.
