Duncanville ISD Gets Very Own Police Department, First Time in District’s History

DUNCANVILLE (WBAP/KLIF)- Duncanville ISD will have its very own police department for the first time in the district’s history. Tiara Richard with Duncanville ISD says the district is getting a chief, two sergeants and an officer to increase school safety. Duncanville ISD board of trustees will make it official at a swearing-in ceremony Monday at 7pm at the Education Plaza on South Cedar Ridge Drive in Duncanville. Those in the department are Chief Chavela Hampton, Sergeant Mitchell Lambert, Sergeant Kristopher Dossey and Officer Chris Russell.
