The American Red Cross needs your help. It’s facing an emergency need for blood because of fewer donations and blood drives in recent months.
Jan Hale with American Red Cross says it had 21,000 fewer blood donations and 1,000 fewer blood drives in September and October. “Blood is being distributed faster than donations are coming in so we are urging people to celebrate Thanksgiving and celebrate your good health by donating blood,” Hale said.
