LONDON (WBAP/KLIF News) — A TCU student who got drunk and belligerent on a flight from London to Dallas last month has been sentenced to six months in British prison.

21-year-old Jeffrey “Tanner” Libby pleaded guilty to three counts of assault, one count of being drunk on an aircraft, and one for threatening and using abusive language toward the crew.

Libby was accused of punching and kicking seats, grabbing the arm of another female passenger, and biting another’s finger when they tried to restrain him, which all caused the pilot to turn the plane around and land back in London. Parts of the incident were captured on a cell phone camera

An attorney says Libby’s girlfriend had just broken up with him via text message.
