Tarrant County, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris makes a campaign stop in Tarrant County this week.
The California senator plans to meet with Tarrant County Democrats in Grapevine Friday night for a community conversation.
Tarrant County is considered “one of last urban, conservative strongholds in the country,” according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and has supported every GOP presidential nominee in recent history.
But, in 2016, then candidate Donald Trump carried only 52-percent of the vote.
Democrat Beto O’rourke narrowly won the county in the 2018 midterm senate race against Republican Senator Ted Cruz.
