DALLAS – Students at SMU law school may soon be somewhat surprised to see a teenager sitting in the seat next to them.
Haley Taylor Schlitz, 16, will be headed to Dedman School of Law this coming fall. Schlitz currently is attending Texas Woman’s University and is expected to graduate with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, in May.
At the age of 13, she graduated from high school.
Schlitz was accepted into nine law schools including Howard university and Texas Southern.
