Frisco to be Home to $40 Million Music Entertainment Complex

FRISCO (WBAP/KLIF)- A music entertainment center is coming to the City of Frisco. Music Street Frisco is a 6.7-acre, $40 million privately funded entertainment complex that will include a 1,024-seat indoor performance hall, a 400-seat outdoor performance stage, and multiple restaurants. In conjunction with Steve Morriss (Project Visionary) and Rodney Haggard (Plano, TX Developer), Dallas-based Hodges Architecture was selected to fulfill Music Street Frisco’s vision. Hodges Architecture, renowned for designing theaters and entertainment venues nationally, created the preliminary plans for Music Street. Hodges Architecture is currently finalizing the detailed construction plans. Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney said they have been looking to provide additional entertainment in the city. “Tourism is a big part of our city we already have 6 million visitors a year but this will keep people longer bring more visitors…this will be a destination for the city of Frisco,” said Cheney. Music Street Frisco is scheduled to open late 2020 / early 2021 with plans to build additional locations nationwide. It will be located north of Warren Parkway, off the Dallas North Tollway near The Star Arena.
