FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- The Human Relations Commission of Fort Worth has unanimously voted to remove Mike Steel from the commission. Two weeks ago, Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price called for Steele’s resignation after finding out about inappropriate posts on social media.
Monday, the HRC, which is tasked to promote and create unity in the city, voted to remove Steele. The resolution states that the commission is aware of the numerous negative social media posts expressing his views on people based on their ethnicity, religion and transgender. the commission says this goes against what they stand for.
