DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Deputies in Hood County are trying to figure out why a 3-year-old girl was found floating on a boat alone Friday morning.
Initial reports indicate a 32-year-old father launched a boat into the water at the Granbury City Beach around 5p.m. Thursday. About 9a.m. Friday morning Hood County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Casa Del Sur Court in regards to a 3-year-old, floating on a boat, by herself.
At that time, the father was missing and several agencies were actively searching for him, including DPS Aircraft. A body was later pulled from the water, but police did not say if it was the girl’s father.
