McKinney, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A McKinney motorcycle officer sustained minor injuries after being hit while blocking traffic for an earlier accident on NB Central Expressway.
The officer was taken to a hospital to get checked and is expected to be fine.
Carla Marion with McKinney police says the accident underscores the importance of the move-over law — it stipulates that if drivers see flashing lights, they must move over or slow down as they pass the area.
