DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The shooting death of a man in his own apartment by a Dallas Police Officer will be the focus of a Public Service Announcement during this year’s Super Bowl broadcast.
The case garnered national attention last year during Amber Guyger’s murder trial.
The life and death of Botham Jean is featured in the NFL PSA highlighting victims of Police brutality. Jean was shot and killed when former Dallas Police Officer Amber Guyger said she mistook his apartment for her own. She’s serving a ten year prison sentence. In the 2 minute piece, members of Jean family share his story.
