FT. HOOD (WBAP 24/7 NEWS) – The House of Representatives has passed an agreement to award the victims of the 2009 Ft. Hood shooting the Purple Heart and all its corresponding benefits.
13 people were killed and more than 30 were injured when Army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan went on a shooting rampage.
The senate is expected to approve the bill next week.
Many had argued against the designation because the shooter was an American soldier.
