I’ve always been a traditionalist. Christmas shopping in stores, the ability to see others picking out their gifts.
But this year that changed. I did all of my shopping on line. Everything from toys for the grandkids to perfume for the wife. It’s simple and easy, just sit back and wait for the merchandise to arrive at your door.
I don’t know why change is so hard sometimes. Maybe it’s just age.
I do miss the chance to exchange greetings with others and see the smiling faces of kids waiting in line to visit Santa. Now, I’ll just save those special thoughts for family members and close friends.
Hoping the best to you and yours this holiday season.
