PLANO (WBAP/KLIF 24/7 NEWS) – Police are warning North Texans not to advertise what you got for Christmas by putting the boxes your gifts came in out with the trash.
"Cut them up. Save them until it's time for the pickup. Just don't broadcast to everyone what nice, expensive things you have in your home."
Officer David Tilley with the Plano Police Department says you don't want to tell your neighbors, or criminals, what presents you were given.
