It seems kind of bizarre to me we go as crazy as we do when it comes to a new year.
We have twelve opportunities to put on party hats and drink to the end of the bottle each year for a different month, but we don't do that.
We have 365 opportunities to do the same for each day, but we don't do that. Well, some of us do. Those people are really special.
But here it is again – a new year. What will come? No one anticipated Dallas would see a month-long case of nonstop news stories on Ebola in 2014, but it happened.
What will be the big news story of 2015 in North Texas?
Who knows – but at least we can enjoy the last moments of "The Holidays" before praying we can lose the ten pounds we put on beginning on Thanksgiving.
Best of luck in the next 365, well, 364 days now. Oh, and Happy New Year.
