DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF 24/7 NEWS) – The Dallas FBI office and the Dallas Police Department are asking the public's help in finding a man dubbed the "Lunch Buddy Bandit."
The suspect received the nickname because of his numerous bank robberies around the lunch hour.
"The Lunch Buddy Bandit verbally demands money from the teller. After receiving the cash, he leaves the bank on foot," says Katie Chaumont with the FBI. "At least one robbery, witnesses did see him leaving the area in light-colored Chevy Impala."
The man is suspected in 11 bank robberies in the metroplex dating back to mid-December.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Dallas FBI at 972-559-5000 or the North Texas Crime Stoppers tipline at 1-877-373-TIPS.
A reward is offered for information leading to an arrest.
