Lewisville Police Looking For Suspect in Attempted Abduction

LEWISVILLE (WBAP/KLIF 24/7 News) – Lewisville police are searching for a suspect who attempted to abduct a teenage girl on Tuesday.  The incident occurred about 4pm near South Ridge Elementary School on West Corporate. 

The teen was walking home from school when the suspect attempted to lure her into the car with him.  When she refused, the suspect got out of the car and tried to grab her.  She was able to break free from him and run away.  She reported the incident to her parents who then contacted police. 

The suspect’s car is described as a four door dark colored sedan with light grey interior.  The suspect himself is a Hispanic man in his thirties, with a thin build and a mustache.  The teen also described the suspect as dragging his right foot and having very chapped lips.
