DALLAS (AP) – Dallas police say a preliminary investigation shows that a woman who knew an officer fatally shot him at his apartment and then killed herself.
Police say they got a 911 call about the shooting at Officer Larry Tuttle's apartment on Saturday evening.
Tuttle and the woman were both found dead. A six-year-old child was found unharmed in the apartment.
The woman's next of kin has not yet been notified.
Tuttle was a six-year veteran of the Dallas police.
