STEPHENVILLE (WBAP 24/7 NEWS) – 10 women and two men have been picked to hear the capital murder trial of a man charged with killing Chris Kyle, the former navy seal depicted in the movie "American Sniper."
Attorneys spent six days sifting through more than 200 potential panel members before coming up with the final twelve.
Former marine Eddie Ray Routh is also accused of killing a friend of Kyle's. They were both shot at a gun range near Glenrose.
The trial is being held at the Erath County courthouse in Stephenville.
The judge has indicated he expects testimony to last about two weeks.
