IRVING (WBAP/KLIF News) – A school bus carrying more than a dozen elementary-age kids from Coppell was involved in a crash with an SUV near Belt Line and Cabell Drive in Irving, according to Tamra Ringo, a communications director with Coppell ISD.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. “There were no serious injuries, however two children were taken to the hospital as a precaution,” said Ringo. “The remaining children were picked up by their parents.”
“The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries,” said James McLellan, a public information officer for the Irving Police Department.
