FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – An elementary school in Fort Worth is on lock down after a shooting.
An 18-year-old was walking in front of Wilson Elementary when he was shot, according to police. It happened around 1:00 p.m. Friday.
The teen was taken to the hospital with what is being reported as “non life-threatening” injuries. Police said the victim was not affiliated with the school.
Students were let go at their regularly scheduled time with extra security in the area.
Police were searching for the shooter.
