(WBAP/KLIF NEWS) – Three people were killed in a wreck Thursday involving an armored car.
The armored car was stalled in the painted apex of the ramp to East and Westbound Interstate-20 from the George Bush Turnpike in western Dallas County. A Honda Accord was traveling south and entered the lanes to continue to I-20.
According to the Texas Highway Patrol, the Honda left the travel portion of the right lane and hit the back of the armored car. Three of the occupants inside the Honda were pronounced dead at the scene.
An infant was taken to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.
The driver of the armored car and the passenger were not seriously hurt.
