DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Police in Dallas are investigating a deadly shooting in East Dallas.
The shooting happened around 10:00am Friday in the 8900 block of Freeport Drive, north of Interstate 30.
“The victim, or the subject, attempted to burglarize the location with a shotgun when he was confronted and shot and killed by the resident,” said Lieutenant Latoya Porter.
Officers continue to look for additional evidence.
No names have been released.
