Bus Service to Resume, but For How Long?

McKINNEY (WBAP/KLIF NEWS) – The elderly and disabled in Collin County will soon have bus service again–but it’s unclear how long it will last.

The North Central Texas Council of Governments has announced it will will pay for 90-days of service.

The “on demand” pick up will begin February 29th in McKinney, Allen, Fairview and Wylie. Fares will be three dollars. Medical transport will have priority.

After the 90-day period runs out it will be up to the individual cities to continue the service.
