DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS) – A man is in custody following the attempted robbery of an East Dallas Wal-Mart.
It happened a little before ten Tuesday night at the location on Samuel Boulevard near Jim Miller.
A man walked into the location, displayed a gun and ordered a clerk to empty her register.
When she didn’t act fast enough the thief fired several rounds into the floor and several more in the air as he was running out of the store.
He didn’t get any money. No injuries to the clerk or customers.
A suspect was arrested a short time nearby by police using witness descriptions.
