DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – One Dallas elementary school principal is calling for parents to talk to students about gun safety after a gun was found at William Brown Miller Elementary School.
“One of our students brought a gun to school today,” read a letter sent home to parents.
“With the help of some students who reported seeing the firearm, our staff took immediate action and fortunately, no one was injured,” the letter continued.
Principal Sheila Aldredge urged parents to keep firearms locked away in a safe location from children.
Dallas police have yet to charge anyone since no one was found in possession of the weapon.
