IRVING (WBAP/KLIF News) Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson told supporters in Irving over the weekend that he’s had plenty of requests to drop out of the race.
Carson said people making those requests can “go jump in a lake.” More than 300 supporters turned out to hear Carson Saturday, but the ballroom at the Westin Hotel at DFW Airport would only hold about 2/3 of that. At the debate last week, he said while his opponents insulted each other, he talked about the national debt and his flat tax plan. Carson said he doesn’t think the other candidates talk enough about the $19 trillion national debt. In his entire 45 minute speech, he didn’t mention any other republican competitor.
