LANCASTER (WBAP/KLIF) – The city of Lancaster is looking for a new police chief.
That comes after Cheryl Wilson, who’d been on the job for more than two years, abruptly resigned.
Wilson had been mired in a continuing fight with the city manager over an excessive force complaint filed against one of her officers.
Both a Texas ranger and prosecutor who reviewed the case said the officer did nothing wrong.
Previously Wilson had worked with the Dallas county sheriff’s office.
