Classes Resume After Fire

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Fire investigators in Dallas are trying to figure out what started a blaze outside of an elementary school in Oak Cliff.

Crews responded to a call about flames at L.O. Donald Elementary around 9:00 p.m. Monday.  Fire officials said a grass fire had engulfed a portable building.  It was a total loss, but the main school building wasn’t damaged.

The school is located in a residential area near West Jefferson and Cockrell Hill Road.

Classes will be held as normal on Tuesday.
