LEWISVILLE (WBAP/KLIF) – Police say a driver accused of crashing into another vehicle on Interstate 35E in the Dallas suburb of Lewisville fled the scene by jumping into Lewisville Lake.
Witnesses told authorities they saw the man jump from the highway bridge over the lake late Sunday night, hit the water below but never saw him again.
The Lewisville Fire Department confirms they are participating in a search and rescue operation at the lake.
