ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF News) – Arlington Police say one of their officers was hurt Sunday after a DWI suspect rammed her patrol car.
Police Lieutenant Christopher Cook says the suspect is Josue Mendez.
“Later, he did admit he intentionally rammed her so that she would not be able to continue to pursue him.”
He’s charged with aggravated assault on a public servant and evading arrest.
The officer is expected to recover.
