WEATHERFORD (WBAP/KLIF News) – A 17-year-old from Weatherford died after accidentally shooting himself on Monday, according to a game warden in Wise County.
Brennan Weikel was hunting feral hogs with his family along the Wise and Jack County lines when his gun discharged.
Students are on Spring Break this week, but the school district plans to have counselors available when they return on Monday.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
