FARMERS BRANCH (WBAP/KLIF News) – A Farmers Branch police officer has paid an additional bond to keep himself out of jail.
Ken Johnson is charged with murder in the shooting death of Jose Cruz, 16, earlier this month. Another teen was hurt.
Johnson told police the two were burglarizing a vehicle in an apartment complex in Addison. Johnson was off-duty at the time.
His bond was increased to $300,000 at the request of the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office.
