FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – At least eighteen “Chick-Fil-A” locations are teaming up with local police departments to support an injured Fort Worth officer.
From five-until-nine Monday evening, police officers and volunteers will sell special t-shirts to benefit officer Matt Pearce.
He was shot seven times earlier this month in a confrontation with a wanted fugitive and his son.
Pearce remains in John Peter Smith hospital and faces a long road to recovery.
The restaurants will also donate 20-percent of sales to the officer’s family.
