DALLAS COUNTY (WBAP/KLIF News) – The family of a man who died in the lobby of the Dallas County Jail after being tackled by Sheriff’s Deputies say they plan to sue the deputies involved.
“The take down and the actual physical restraint applied to him in the lobby hastened his death, as opposed to what the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said that he was a walking timebomb. That his other underlying issues were going to cause him to die, we don’t believe that’s true, at all.”
The attorney for the family of Joseph Hutcheson, Scott Palmer, says a Dallas County Grand Jury will likely hear the case in the next few weeks.
