DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Independent School District has launched a new website dedicated to ongoing repairs at the aging South Oak Cliff High School.
“There are members of the school community who are advocating for a new school to replace the current South Oak Cliff campus,” said Andre Riley with Dallas ISD. “In the meantime, what we’re trying to do at the district is that we are addressing the current learning environment.”
There has been talk, even at the Board level, of starting the ball rolling on a new building.
Students have protested in the past weeks at cracks in the walls as well as water leaks and air conditioning and heating issues.
The new website is www.dallasisd.org/socupdate.
