Former elementary school Principal faces possible prison term

WBAP/KLIF – The former Principal of an Arlington elementary school has been found guilty of child exploitation for sex. 47 year old Oscar Figueroa was the Principal of Viridian Elementary when he was arrested in Frisco’s Stonebriar Center mall. He had arranged to meet what he thought would be a 16 year old boy, but was in fact an undercover police officer. Figueroa now faces a possible ten years to life in prison. There is no indication that he ever tried to have illicit contact with any student at any school where he has worked.
