Colony High School Threats

Colony High School 1THE COLONY (WBAP/KLIF) – Police are investigating threats made toward The Colony high school.

Details on the nature of the threats was not made public in a notice sent out by the district. It did say suspects are currently under investigation.

Colony high school principal Tim Baxter also praised the actions of Lewisville ISD and local police, and said updates will be sent out if additional information becomes available. Students are expected to report to class on their normal schedule.

The Colony High School Parents,

Late Sunday night, police and school officials received information regarding threats made against The Colony High School. Suspects are currently under investigation. I appreciate the quick action taken by the police and the Lewisville ISD safety and security team to keep our students and staff safe once reports of the threats surfaced.

The district will send updates if additional information becomes available. Students should report to class on their normal schedule on Monday, April 4.
