The weekend free clinic was a success

WBAP/KLIF – The National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics says it’ll take a week or so to compile all the statistics, but it treated at least 12 hundred patients at Saturday’s free clinic in Dallas, and found that 60% of them hadn’t been able to see a doctor in more than 3 years. The association says fifty doctors donated their time, and were supported by a thousand other volunteers. They handed out a quarter of a million dollars worth of prescription medications, and provided EKG’s, mammograms, diabetes tests, eyeglasses, and a number of other medical services to those who had no way to pay for them.
