(WBAP/KLIF NEWS) WYLIE – All 19 Wylie campuses will be closed today due to what is referred to as “Significant Damage”. Ian Halperin with the district says a lot of windows are broken leaving behind glass and water in many classrooms. Rooftop air conditioners also sustained damage in the hailstorm.
Halperin says the crews are assessing the damage and in the mean time, schools are closed because the district wants to keep the students safe during the cleanup process.
