PLEASANT GROVE (WBAP/KLIF News) – Five people were shot overnight in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas. Police believe some of the incidents were related.
The first happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday at a home in the 1100 block of Galicia Lane. One person was killed.
About ten minutes later, police said two people were shot outside of a convenience store near St. Augustine and Bruton. Both are hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.
Officers responded to a third shooting in the 9700 block of Kittyhawk Lane. Investigators said the shooting at this location and the first one on Galicia are related. In both of those shootings, the suspect was described as a Hispanic man who fled each scene in a red SUV.
Shots again rang out just after midnight at some apartments on Masters Drive. The victim was shot in the back and was did not have life threatening injuries, according to police. The suspect in that case was last seen driving off in a vehicle that roughly matches the description of the first and third incidents.
Police don’t know what led to the shootings.
