Man Beaten Outside Dallas Campisi’s 2 Years Ago Has Died

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) The Dallas man nearly beaten to death outside a Campisi’s restaurant has died. Luis Rocha Sr. was still recovering from injuries he suffered in January 2014 after he was attacked in a parking lot along Mockingbird. He picked up a pizza, and says on his way back to his car near a Radio Shack is when someone jumped him. There were no witnesses and no surveillance cameras, according to the Dallas Morning News. Rocha’s attorney said lighting in the parking lot and security could have prevented the crime. Rocha was not able to overcome a respiratory infection following the attack and died from pneumonia.
