ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF) – Arlington police are hoping a jewelry burglar’s mistake will help lead to his capture.
Arlington Police Lieutenant Christopher Cook says the suspect entered the store on South Watson Road through the roof but at one point screwed up.
“He was using his phone to kind of illuminate what he was looking for but then he turned the light switch on,” said Cook. “When he did that he looked right at the surveillance camera so we got some good images from that.”
The suspect is a white or Hispanic man, about 5’05” to 5’09” tall with a thin build.
It is believed he drove a 2005 Ford Ranger pickup.
