(WBAP/KLIF) – It is the first of its kind Sales Tax Holiday for Emergency Preparation Supplies.
Generators, batteries, first aid kits as well as fuel containers and smoke detectors are just a small list of what qualifies.
“We’ve already seen some significant severe weather this Spring and we know if you spend a spring in Texas, it certainly doesn’t get any more predictable,” said Chris Bryan with the Texas Comptroller’s Office.
The sales tax holiday begins one minute after midnight Saturday morning and lasts through midnight on Monday.
