WBAP/KLIF – Local film critic Gary Murray has been killed by a hit and run driver. He reportedly was run down by a pickup truck Thursday night while crossing Mockingbird Lane near Central Expressway. The driver of the truck fled, and it has not been found. Murray was the founder of the North Texas Film Critics Association, and had covered a showing at the Dallas International Film Festival on the night he was killed.
