DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The American Red Cross has not been as busy as it has in the past few weeks than during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Anita Foster, with the Red Cross, says that is how bad it has been after several severe storms hit Texas.
The Red Cross is calling on additional volunteers ahead of another possible round of severe weather.
The initial goal is for at least 50 volunteers.
“We are not looking for someone to be available everyday, all day, for weeks,” said Foster. “Rather for folks to come in and shift in and out with us.”
