Mayfest in Fort Worth Kicks Off on Thursday

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) Lots of food and fun in Fort Worth this weekend. Mayfest kicks off on Thursday at Trinity Park. Elizabeth Basham is the executive director of the festival. She says there are some brand new events in store like a BMX bike show and chalk artists. Also the traditional paddle boats and Great American Duck Races are making a comeback. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children 3-12 years old. Get a dollar off regular ticket prices at Tom Thumb and Albertson’s. There are also a couple of options for parking: $10 park and walk from Farrington Field, free parking and a free shuttle pick-up from La Grave Field, and new this year – a designated Uber stop at the south entrance.
